DANVILLE — State Representative Brandun Schweizer (R-Danville) is launching a new Community Spotlight initiative.
According to a release from his office, the Community Spotlight initiative is aimed at recognizing local businesses and nonprofit organizations in the 104th District that make a positive impact on the community.
“Local businesses and nonprofit organizations are the backbones of our communities,” Schweizer said. “They create jobs, serve neighbors, support families, and help make our communities a great place to live in work. I am happy to offer this initiative and encourage everyone to nominate a local business or non-profit that has made a lasting impact.”
Nominations can be submitted online by visiting RepSchweizer.com and filling out the form named “Community Spotlight Nominations,” nested under the resources tab. Nominators will be asked to provide their information as well as the information of the business or organization they are nominating. Nominations are accepted anytime and do not need to be resubmitted if not selected during the month they were submitted.
Schweizer will select one nominee per month. Nominees will receive a certificate, as well as be featured in a press release, on his website, and on his social media pages.
