The Relay for Life of Effingham County will be Friday, July 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Teutopolis Community Park, located at Race Street and W. Northern Row, Teutopolis.
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an inspiring, fun-filled evening at Relay For Life. Celebrate survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and join the fight against cancer.
Evening Highlights:
5 p.m. – Food Trucks and Fundraising Tents Open
5:30 p.m. – Opening Ceremony
6 p.m. – Survivor Ceremony and Lap
7 p.m. – Live Music by Laila Smith
7:30 p.m. – Garden of Hope Ceremony
8 p.m. – Event Ends
Walk laps on the designated pinwheel-lined path throughout the evening.
Food will be available from Mac Daddy Food Truck, Homewood Grill, Toni’s Snak Shak, Izy’s Shiver Shack and Crossroads Bank (serving pulled pork nachos and sandwiches).
Heather’s Fight Club will have a bake sale, bounce house, kids’ activities and photo booth.
Cromwell Media Effingham will have prize wheel and quilt raffle.
A special drawing for original artwork by Amanda Hoelscher and more will be held.
