Georgia Wilson of the Hamilton-Wenham girls track and field team has put forth some wonderful races and times during her high school career. She did so again at this past weekend’s Division 6 state meet.
Wilson finished twice in two events, second in another and set two new meet records as the Generals placed second overall to Mt. Greylock at the Division 6 state meet for the second consecutive year.
Wilson set a new meet record in the triple jump with a leap of 37 feet. She also set a new meet record in the 100 meter hurdles in the preliminaries with a time of 15.11 seconds, then won the race in a time of 15.49. She also took second in the long jump with a leap of 17 feet eight inches.
