The Foster Adoptive Parent Association of the Upper Cumberland Region will present the 10th annual Rat Run on the Mountain Sept. 13 at the Cumberland County Community Complex, 1398 Livingston Road.
The event will be from 1-5 p.m. The show includes prizes and custom-made trophies for all classes.
All proceeds go toward bettering the lives of children in Foster Adoptive Parent Association homes.
The car show includes classes for classics, VW, hot rods, Jeeps, motorcycles, Corvettes, trucks, “Ridging Rat” mowers, people’s choice and kids choice.
Rat Rod classes are coolest rat, rattiest rat, most creative rat, rattiest rat, and classiest rat.
Children’s Power Wheels divisions must be classified as little rat rod, little hot rod and little classic.
Entry donations are $15 for autos, $10 for motorcycles and rat riding lawnmowers, and $5 for Kids Power Wheels.
Public gate admission is $5 and includes all festivities as well as offering kids the opportunity to meet the Superheroes who work in police, fire and EMS.
A silent auction is planned as part of the attractions.
Bikers Against Bullies will have a bike swap meet during the show.
There will also be a swap meet for parts vendors, as well as crafters.
