The Niagara County Department of Public Works will hold a public information meeting regarding the upcoming road construction project on Rapids and Raymond roads at 6:30 p.m. March 27 at Lockport Town Hall on Dysinger Road.
Representatives from engineering firm Erdman Anthony will be on hand to provide details on the project scope and answer any questions the public may have.
The roughly $6 million project includes mill and overlay to restore the riding surface on Raymond and Rapids roads. In addition, there will be reconstruction work with grade adjustments at the Bartz/Crosby and Minnick Road intersections with Rapids Road.
Bids for the project will be taken later this month and construction is expected to begin in late summer.
