MONTEZUMA, Ind. — The North Vermillion wrestling team began the season on Friday at the Banks of the Wabash Championship.
The Falcons could not get a team win during the meet, losing to South Vermillion 42-39, Riverton Parke 46-36 and Parke Heritage 50-32, but were able to get four individual champions.
Emmett Walters (106 pounds), Aden Rangel (138), Andrew Botner (150) and Warren Pollard (165) were each 3-0 to win titles for the Falcons, who will have a meet with Attica on Dec. 3.
