HOOPESTON — The Hoopeston Area volleyball team was able to make the most of its home match with Clifton Central on Monday.
The Cornjerkers squeaked past the Comets 25-22, 25-23 in non-conference play.
Abby Steiner had five aces and three kills and Brylie Cox had four aces, three kills and a block for Hoopeston Area, who will play Armstrong-Potomac on Tuesday.
