BISMARCK — The Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin track teams beat out four teams on Thursday at a home meet.
In the boys meet, Vince Lane won the shot put (14.65m) and discus (43.26m) for the Blue Devils, while Mason Cunningham won the 200 meter dash (22.69 seconds) and Devin Stroud won the 1,600 (5:12). The 400 relay team of Dylan Davis, Cunningham, Issac Cahill and Gavin High won in 43.33, while the same group won the 800 in 1:30 and the 1,600 team of Dylan Farr, Darin Farr, Payton Wallace and Hunter Black won in 3:39 and the 3,200 team of Farr, Stroud, Lincoln Dulin and Everett Crawley won in 8:58.
Armstrong-Potomac was third with Ethan Holden winning the 400 (52.84) and Samuel Lanter took second in the 1,600 (5:14) and Issac Kennel was second in the high jump (1.73m).
Schlarman Academy was fifth with Noah Fowler winning the high jump in 1.83m, Mark Lehmann winning the triple jump in 11.74m and Marquan Pinkston was second in the 800 (2:09.33).
In the girls meet, Natalie Thomason won the 300 hurdles (48.20) and the high jump (1.58m), Neveah Scott won the 100 dash (13.55), Alli Hughes took the shot put (9.41m), Jaz Ingram won the long jump (4.95m) and Reece Larsen won the triple jump (9.72m).
The 400 relay team of Mackenzie Stow, Emily Dice, Larsen and Scott won in 52.52, while the 800 team of stow, Jazmaya Gerrity, Larsen and Ingram won in 1:59, the 1,600 team of Alivia Reifsteck, Lilly Johnson, Aleah Potter and Thomason won in 4:28 and the 3,200 team of Reifsteck, Quiney LeBean, Johnson and Potter won in 11:26.
Armstrong-Potomac was third with second place finishes from Kayla Wernigk (14:29) in the 3,m200, Ashlyn Ackerman in the high jump (1.52m) and Chesney Franzen in the triple jump (9.21m).
Aniyah Dye won the discus (30.27m) for the Hilltoppers, who took fourth.
