BROADLANDS — The Salt Fork softball team made an impact from the start of Tuesday’s game with Heritage.
The Storm scored 11 runs in the first inning and went on to a 22-0 win in four innings over the Hawks.
Bella Kurtenbach had three hits and two RBIs for Salt Fork, while Alexa Jamison and Brilynn Barnett each had two hits and three RBIs, winning pitcher Morgan Russell had two hits and two RBIs, Sailor Pacot had two RBIs, Karli McGee, Michelle Ford, Lainey Ehler and Annalise Chambliss each had one RBI and Ava Ringstrom had two hits.
Russell had five strikeouts and gave up only one hit for the Storm, who are 7-1 and will face LeRoy on Saturday.
