ST. JOSEPH — The Salt Fork softball team started the season with a tough battle against St. Joseph-Ogden on Thursday, losing 18-2 in four innings.
Bella Kurtenbach had two hits and an RBI for the Storm, while Morgan Russell had two hits and Sailor Pacot added an RBI.
The Storm will try to regroup on Saturday with a game against Danville.
