PAXTON — The Hoopeston Area softball team had 11 hits, but could not score many runs in an 14-5 loss to Paxton-Buckley-Loda on Tuesday.
Addyson Kelnhofer had two RBIs for the Cornjerkers, while Cayden Kasallis and Chloe Miller each had three hits and an RBI and Adylin Rutledge had six strikeouts on the mound.
Hoopeston Area is 0-3 and will host Danville on Thursday.
