PREP SOFTBALL: Danville no match for Normal Community

TILTON — The Danville softball team took on Big 12 Conference leader Normal Community on Thursday.
The Vikings had six hits, but the Ironmen were just too much in getting an 9-1 win.
Olivia Scaggs had the lone RBI for Danville, while Ava Foster had two hits and Kendall Rannebarger took the loss on the mound.
Tatum Yokley had three hits and two RBIs for Normal Community, while McKenna Baughman had two hits and two RBIs.
The Vikings are 9-9 overall and will face Bloomington on Tuesday.
