MANTON — Lauren Wilder made a triumphant return to the hardwood Monday.
The Manton senior guard played her first varsity girls basketball game since suffering a torn ACL last December.
She led the Rangers to a 56-42 win over visiting Kingsley, scoring 21 points to go along with six rebounds and five steals. Freshman Aubrey Hiller added 19 points, four steals and three assists for Manton.
Grace Lewis scored 10 points to lead the Stags, while Anne Strange added eight to the scoreboard.
Manton (1-0) hosts McBain on Friday in a boys-girls doubleheader, while Kingsley (0-1) travels to Buckley on Thursday.
