HARBOR SPRINGS — Traverse City West’s Caleb Lewandowski continues to stack wins this season.
Lewandowski collected a win in the slalom race at the eighth annual Hans ‘Peppi’ Teichner Town last Friday, and he continued that winning feat on Monday. Lewandowski finished the Big North Conference meet at Nub’s Nob Ski Resort with first-place wins in the slalom and giant slalom.
TC West girls placed first overall, followed by TC Central in second, and Cadillac in third. TC Central boys finished first overall, followed by TC West, and Cadillac in third.
In the boys giant slalom, Petoskey’s Gavin Galbraith (51.26) finished in second, Central’s Cooper Gerber (51.61) placed third. In the slalom, Gaylord’s Keaton Abraham (1:13.19) placed second, followed by Gerber (1:15.00) in third.
Petoskey’s Marley Spence stacked up first-place finishes in the slalom and giant slalom. Spence finished the slalom at 1:15.29 and the giant slalom at 49.76.
In the girls slalom, West’s Quinn Gerber (1:15.64) finished second, and Central’s Avery Plummer (1:20.98) was third. Quinn finished second in the giant slalom, followed by Cadillac Onalee Wallis (51.03) in third.
