TRAVERSE CITY — The Traverse City West hockey team picked up its third Big North Conference win Tuesday, besting Cadillac 2-1 in overtime with Landon Totten tacking in the game-winner. The win marks the Titans’ first victory over the Vikings since their final meeting in the 2021-22 season.
The Titans (4-5) move to 3-2 in the Big North with their next conference game at home against Petoskey on Jan. 24.
West goalkeeper Alonso Ovaitt out-saved the Vikings’ goalkeeper by a 29-15 margin.
TC West hosts Saginaw Heritage on Dec. 27 for the Scott Miller Memorial Tournament. The Vikings (3-7, 0-4 BNC) welcome Gaylord on Wednesday.
