OXFORD, Ind. — The Fountain Central girls tennis team was able to have a little history in its 4-1 win over Benton Central on Thursday.
Fountain Central doubles player Hannah Prickett picked up a new school record 62nd doubles win when she and teammate Lilly Peterson swept Benton Central’s Taryn Klenn and Emma Hinds 6-0, 6-0.
The team of Savannah Bowers and Josie Harshbarger also won in doubles for the Mustangs, while Laney Hoagland and Esme Muniz each won in singles.
The Mustangs will now host the WRC tournament, which will start on Saturday.
