CAYUGA, Ind. — After losing their first game of the season last week, the Seeger girls basketball team rebounded on Tuesday in Wabash River Conference play.
The Patriots took a 23-11 halftime lead and built that into a 53-38 win over North Vermillion.
Lorelei Lanie had 29 points to lead Seeger, while Caleigh Purcell had seven points and Hayden Frodge and Kalli Peterson each had five points.
Nora Thomann had 21 points to lead the Falcons, while Cadence Dunham added 11 points.
The Patriots are 4-1 and will play Frontier on Thursday, while the Falcons are 2-5 and will face Parke Heritage on Dec. 9.
