BISMARCK — The Salt Fork girls basketball team was able to defeat North Vermillion 54-35 on Thursday at the Blue Devil Classic.
Macie Russell had 14 points for the Storm, while Brycie Hird had 11 points, Bracie Hird ahd 10 and Alexa Jamison and Sailor Pacot each added eight points.
Cadence Dunham had 18 points for the Falcons, while Lauren Ellis added six points.
The Storm end the first two days of the tournament with a 3-1 record and will face Lexington for third place on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
North Vermillion played Cissna Park earlier in the day and lost 55-38. Dunham had 15, while Kera Dunham had 13 and Ellis had seven.
The Falcons will play Armstrong-Potomac on Friday at 2:30 p.m. for seventh-place.
