BISMARCK — The Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin girls basketball team made sure early on it was going to win its home opener.
The Blue Devils scored 15 points in the second quarter to bust Friday’s game with Covington open and left with a 47-27 win.
Ella Acton had 16 points to lead BHRA, while Gentry Elson had 11 points and Gianna Brown and Sophia Stines each added six.
Preslee Shaw had nine points for the Trojans, while Lauren Hardy had seven, Landrie Sutton scored six and Zoey Doolin added five.
The Blue Devils will travel to Oakwood on Thursday, while Covington will travel to North Montgomery on Tuesday.
