WATSEKA — The Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman football team wanted to start the season with a win on Friday.
The Buffaloes were tied with Watseka before halftime and a lightning delay slowed whatever progress they had as the Warriors would roll on in the second half to get a 42-20 win.
GRFC will return to action on Sept. 7 against Oakwood.
