DANVILLE — After some close defeats in the last week, the Danville boys basketball team finally got a win on the board this season.
After a tied first half, the Vikings were able to break out in the third quarter and went on to get their first win of the season on Tuesday in a 64-40 win over Rantoul.
JaVaughn Robinson led the Vikings with 22 points with CL Dye getting 16 with 14 of them in the second half. Jerry Reed III had 12 points, Eriean Smith had five and Jayvion Avery added four.
