CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — The Seeger boys basketball team are now one step away from breaking a decades-long streak.
The Patriots beat Benton Central 70-58 on Friday in an IHSAA Class 2A sectional semifinal at North Montgomery High School.
With the win, the Patriots are 13-11 and will be going for their first sectional championship since the 1977-1978 season on Saturday against Western Boone.
The Stars beat Rensselaer Central 70-35 in Friday’s second game.
