WESTVILLE — For the second time in six days, the Oakwood Comets came up short against the Unity Rockets.
But, this time it was in the IHSA Class 2A Westville Regional semifinals.
Dane Eisenmenger and Brayden Henry combined for 37 points and seven 3-pointers as Unity defeated Oakwood 69-36.
The Rockets (24-8) scored 24 points in the first and second quarters building a 48-19 advantage.
Sophomore Carsen Dudley was the only Comet to score in double figures, finishing with 13, while seniors Jackson Dudley (5) and Brandt Hobick (3) played their final games for Oakwood (18-14).
Unity will play Monticello in Friday’s regional championship.
