GEORGETOWN — The Hoopeston Area boys basketball team found their game at the right time on Friday.
Down 29-25 after three quarters, the Cornjerkers scored 16 points as they defeated Georgetown-Ridge Farm 45-38 on Friday.
Alandize Barnett had 10 of his game-high 16 points in the fourth quarter for Hoopeston Area, while Zach Huchel had 11, Cole Miller scored nine and Raydon Montez added six.
Jase Latoz had 11 points for the Buffaloes, while Landon Heck had nine, Austin Grider had six and Deven Vice added five.
The Buffaloes will travel to Armstrong-Potomac on Tuesday, while Hoopeston Area will play Chrisman on Tuesday.
