Clements’ varsity girls picked up a 35-32 win over East Limestone on Thursday night before East Limestone’s varsity boys took down Clements 89-46.
The Class 3A No. 2 Colts moved to 8-5 on the season following the victory. Stats were unavailable.
Braylen Gill, meanwhile, sank seven 3’s en route to a team-high 23 points for the 5A No. 7 Indians, who improved to 9-3 overall.
Rickey Speights (18 points), Zak Cain (10 points, five rebounds, five steals and four assists), Chandler Moore (10 points), Charles Burgess (nine points, eight rebounds and four steals) and Jeb Blanton (eight points) also posted contributions for coach Jake Moran’s squad.
