PREP BASEBALL: Schlarman falls to Cornerstone Christian

BLOOMINGTON — The Schlarman baseball team was able to fight back in the sixth inning to take a 3-2 lead.
But host Cornerstone Christian scored three runs in the bottom of the inning and would get a 5-3 win on Tuesday.
Grayson Kruger had the lone RBI for the Hilltoppers, while Liam Billings had three hits and Wrigley O’Brien had eight strikeouts on the mound to start and Miles Crosby had two strikeouts in relief.
The Hilltoppers are 0-2 and will face St. Thomas More on Wednesday.
