GREENCASTLE, Ind. — The North Vermillion baseball team was down 5-0 in the second inning and could not recover as the Falcons lost 7-1 to South Putnam in the team’s season opener.
Gavin Bean had a double for the Falcons, while Jerome White, Aden Rangel, Wyatt Walters and Emmit Klugow each had one hit.
The Falcons will try to get a win on Tuesday against Westville.
