HOOPESTON — The Hoopeston Area baseball team had great performances on the mound and at the plate on Thursday in a 6-0 win over Rantoul.
On the mound, Zach Huchel had four strikeouts and gave up four hits for the win for the Cornjerkers, while Cole Miller had two hits with four RBIs. Dallas Sheppard and Huchel also added an RBI.
The Cornjerkers are 2-4 and will play Manteno on Friday.
