PAXTON — The Hoopeston Area baseball team battled with Paxton-Buckley-Loda through seven innings, but the Panthers rallied in the bottom of the seventh to get a 14-13 win.
Dallas Sheppard had three hits and four RBIs for the Cornjerkers, while Felix Cantu had two hits and three RBIs, Cole Miller and Zach Huchel each had three hits with two doubles and an RBI, Isaiah Mobley had two hits and an RBI and Brayden Cornelius had an RBI.
Hoopeston Area is 1-7 and will face Georgetown-Ridge Farm on Friday.
