CUMBERLAND — Four of WVU Potomac State College’s five starters scored in double figures, leading the Catamounts (1-1) to a 73-42 win at Allegany College on Saturday at Bob Kirk Arena.
Mya Gilsan scored a game-high 20 points for Potomac State, adding four rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Miya Harris added 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Ericka Zirk and Larkin Walker each scored 10 points.
Zirk and Walker each shot 6 of 10 at the free throw line while Harris went 6 of 11.
Layla Miller (Mountain Ridge) led the Trojans (0-2) with 11 points off the bench, adding two rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Catamounts head to Piqua, Ohio, to play Edison State on Friday at 7 p.m.
Allegany hosts SUNY Niagara on Sunday, followed by Salem on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
