KEYSER, W.Va. — WVU Potomac State College earned two second-team All-American selections in NJCAA Division II softball, as announced on Monday.
Braylee Corbin and Skyla Compton were two of 37 players from 18 programs nationwide to earn All-American honors from the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association).
Corbin (Petersburg) finished second in Region 20 with 73 RBIs and 21 home runs while finishing fifth in slugging (1.043) and tied for 10th with a .479 batting average.
Her 1.043 slugging percentage was ninth in NJCAA Division II while her 21 long balls ranked 12th.
Compton finished fourth in Region 20 with 23 stolen bases, also finishing in the top 10 in hits (61), RBIs (55), average (.513), on-base (.553) and slugging (.966).
Compton finished 14th nationally in average (.513) and 17th in slugging (.966).
