KEYSER, W.Va. — WVU Potomac State College announced that Noah Klingler will be the new assistant athletic director for external relations in a press release on Monday.
Klingler brings a dynamic background in athletics, event management, and community engagement, as well as valuable coaching experience at the NCAA Division II level.
Klingler, a native of Pennsylvania, earned his M.S. in sport management from Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, Lock Haven and a B.S. in recreation, park, and tourism management from Penn State University.
He has worked across collegiate athletics and event operations, most recently serving as an assistant women’s swim coach at Lock Haven University, and as an event manager and fulfillment coordinator for REVELxp.
“Noah brings a unique blend of energy and innovation to our athletics staff,” Potomac State director of athletics Mandi Larkin said. “His diverse background in event planning, external relations, and collegiate athletics is a perfect fit as we continue to grow our Catamount programs and deepen our connection with the community, alumni, and fans.”
In his new role, Klingler will assist with marketing, promotions, fundraising initiatives, and community outreach for the Catamounts’ athletic programs. His experience supervising large-scale events, managing sponsorships, and coordinating with multiple collegiate departments will allow him to make an immediate impact on the student-athlete experience and game day environment.
“I’m honored to join the Catamount family and look forward to helping expand the visibility and impact of WVU Potomac State Athletics,” Klingler said. “There is a strong tradition here, and I’m excited to help tell that story and connect even more people to it.”
Klingler will begin his duties immediately as the Catamounts prepare for a competitive 2025-26 season.
