NEWBURYPORT — Visitors and residents alike are invited to share a piece of Newburyport with family and friends through Greetings from Newburyport, a new postcard project sponsored by the Newburyport Cultural Council.
The project features a series of five complimentary postcards, now available at select locations throughout the city.
Each postcard highlights scenes from Newburyport’s vibrant Cultural District, captured through the lens of local photographer Laura Kozlowski. From the new sculpture “Sail Trace” by artist Aaron T. Stephan to the Custom House Maritime Museum, the images showcase the city’s blend of history and culture.
“Postcards are a timeless way to stay connected,” Cultural Council Chair Pat Cannon said. “With Greetings from Newburyport, we hope to encourage people to celebrate the beauty of our Cultural District while spreading cheer to loved ones near and far.”
The postcards are free and can be found at participating locations throughout the Cultural District, including Nu Kitchen, Chococoa, Simply Sweet, Greetings by Design and Newburyport City Hall.
Visitors are encouraged to take a postcard, write a note, and mail it to a friend or family members, sharing the spirit of Newburyport one message at a time.
Greetings from Newburyport is made possible with support from the Newburyport Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
