NEWBURYPORT — Tickets are on sale now for the sixth annual Brews for Blues, a beer and politics event being held this coming Sunday, Oct. 5, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Newburyport Brewing Company, 4 New Pasture Road, Newburyport.
Elected officials including Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll, U.S. Congressman Seth Moulton and State Auditor Diana DiZoglio will speak at this informal outdoor event and all are invited to attend.
This get together is sponsored by the 3T & 2C Democratic Committees, representing three towns: Newbury, Salisbury and West Newbury – and two cities: Amesbury and Newburyport. In addition to the speakers, several state elected officials are expected to attend, as are many of Newburyport’s local candidates, and Mayor Sean Reardon will welcome attendees to the city. With a shorter speaking program than in the past, there will be more time for conversation and mingling.
Tickets can be purchased at: secure.actblue.com/donate/brews4blues2025/. All proceeds will be divided equally among the five hosting Democratic committees, and enable them to fund meetings, events, scholarships, and support Democratic candidates.
