NEWBURYPORT — Chocolate lovers or anyone with a sweet tooth will be in for a treat on Saturday, Oct. 4, from noon to 4 p.m. when the annual Newburyport Chocolate Tour returns to downtown Newburyport.
The 22nd iteration of the traditional walking tour offers ticket holders a chance to browse through more than 20 downtown stops, tasting an array of chocolates along the way. Ticket sale proceeds are donated to the following community groups:
Community Service of Newburyport – supporting residents with economic and social services; Greenstone Gives – helping children and families facing health challenges; and the General Charitable Society of Newburyport – providing community-based support.
Organized by Vera’s Chocolate Wishes, the chocolate tour has become a signature fall event for the community.
