There will be an increased police presence at Westville schools tomorrow following an alleged social media post that raised concerns.
The school sent a text message to families of students Sunday evening. That text message was posted to social media by a parent.
“The district was made aware of a social media post and has contacted law enforcement who are already in the process of investigation,” the post from the school reads. “At this point there is NO credible evidence to substantiate any threats.
“Law enforcement will continue to investigate and (sic) an increased police presence at school tomorrow where all normal operations will continue.”
It is not known what was in the social media post that has warranted the police presence.”
This is a developing story.
