Tatiana C. Neustadter, who lists an address of Plainfield, was booked on four counts of Murder and 2 counts of Aggravated Batter to a Child earlier this week.
On April 4, 2025, the Vermilion County State’s Attorney’s Office issued a Vermilion County Murder Warrant for Neustadter. This warrant stems from an investigation that began on June 4, 2019. On that date, Detectives responded to the 1000 block of Camaro Drive in Danville for the report of a severely injured 2-year-old child. The child eventually died a couple of weeks later.
Through diligent and continuous investigation by Danville Police Detectives and cooperation with the Vermilion County State’s Attorney’s Office, Neustadter was arrested on the warrant by the Joliet Police Department on Monday. She was transported to the Vermilion County Public Safety Building, where she remains awaiting trial.
The Danville Police Department reminds the public that all subjects arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
