DERRY, N.H. — Pinkerton turned a four-point halftime deficit into an eight-point lead after three quarters and held strong for a 70-64 win over Salem in the finals of the inaugural “Rivalry Week” holiday event on Saturday.
Brady Sullivan led the Astros with 22 points, while Josh Phanor added 16 points — including a trio of 3-pointers — and Wilson Youssef chipped in with 13 points. Malik Salomon blocked four shots for Pinkerton, which improved to 5-0 on the season.
Zach Sangermano and Omar Ali led Salem with 15 points each, while Cooper Keegan added 13 points. The Blue Devils went to 2-3 on the season.
In the consolation game, Windham rolled past Londonderry 64-37 to improve to 4-1 on the season. The Jaguars were led by Brandon Jacobs (21 points) and Sam Roidoulis (14 points).
