Hundreds of people marched along the sidewalks of Main Street in Cooperstown as part of a rally, which began at the village hall, denouncing the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Saturday, Jan. 10.
Speakers at the rally touched on both local and national actions involving ICE, including Otsego County Sheriff’s Office’s participation in the the Warrant Service Officer Program and the shooting death of Renee Good in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The event was organized by Cooperstown Oneonta Indivisible.
