LONDONDERRY — As the kids might say: “Sweeeet!”
That pretty much sums up the weekend activities across the state of New Hampshire, and in Londonderry in particular, where Maple Weekend was celebrated locally at the Peterson Sugarhouse.
“We had an incredible turn out and such a beautiful day,” the Petersons said on their Facebook page, noting that the two-day event was a great success.
The 28 Peabody Row farm offered a variety of syrup-related products, from traditional fare to more exotic offerings, like a maple syrup old-fashion.
Baskets worth hundreds of dollars and containing a variety of products donated by local businesses were also raffled off to lucky winners.
The event was held from noon to 4 p.m. each day.
