MOOREFIELD, W.Va. — Petersburg won Monday’s Moorefield Invitational at the Valley View Golf Club.
The Vikings won with a team score of 327, followed by Keyser (337), Moorefield (349), Strasburg (358), Hampshire (436), East Hardy (441), Pendleton County (456), Frankfort (480) and Berkeley Springs (509).
Frankfort’s Bryson Moorehead was the low medalist, shooting 72.
Lucas Riggleman finished second overall for Petersburg with a 73.
Payton Berg from the Vikings placed third, carding 76.
Austin Kuh and Colton Taylor shot 88, Grayson Kimble had a 90 and Willie Minnich carded 94 for Petersburg.
Ryan Pratt led Keyser with an 80, followed by Lucas Davy’s 84, Evan Ack’s 85, Braylen Blowe’s 88 and Monk Garland’s 91.
Drake Kimble shot a team-low 77 for Moorefield, while Tyler Miller (86), Kail Greenwalt (88), Austin Arbaugh (91), Dylan Colassessano (95) and Trevor Baldwin (100) rounded out the Yellow Jackets.
Strasburg was led by Ella Mochoruk’s 82, followed by Gavin Dellinger (84), Gavin Butler (86), Lathan Robinson (104), Mason Neff (106) and Luke Flynn (112).
Brayden Hott led Hampshire with an 84, while Landin Ludwick’s 85, Cyrus Chaney’s 87, Peyton VanMeter’s 89 and Parker Charlton’s 91 concluded the afternoon for the Trojans.
Jordan Teets shot 77, leading East Hardy followed by Shayne Sisler (113), Patrick Mills (123) and Eli Combs (128).
Dylan Eye carded a team-best 456 for Pendleton County, while Logan Fisher (112), Jax Bennett (124) and Alex Adams (135) rounded out the Wildcats.
Moorehead led Frankfort, followed by Brennan Wharton (96), Landon Catlett (101), Gavin Corwell (103) and Ethan Gattens (108).
Malcolm Johns led Berkeley Springs, carding 86 along with Owen Gray (99), Camden Barney (102), Jackson Davison (106) and Hunter Firl (116).
Bishop Walsh, Frankfort, Fort Hill, Hampshire, Moorefield and Mountain Ridge compete at the Fore Sisters Golf Course on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
