OAKLAND — Trent Lapp tripled and drove in four runs, and Personal Best rolled to an 11-0, six-inning rout of Mountain Laurel Medical Center in a Mountain League Baseball Senior Division game on Friday at Broadford Park.
Personal Best (1-0) racked up nine hits, and Colt and Coye Resh combined for a four-hit shutout. The former Resh allowed two hits across 3 2/3 shutout innings to pick up the win and struck out six. The latter tossed 2 1/3 frames of two-hit, shutout ball.
Lapp went 2 for 3 and scored twice, Colt Resh went 2 for 3 with three runs, Rylin Wilburn and Jameson Resh drove in two runs, and Chase Deremer doubled.
JD Nesselrodt took the loss for Mountain Laurel MC (0-1).
Mountain Laurel MC faces Flintstone at the Memorial Field on Monday at 6 p.m.

WESTERNPORT — Cam Hook and Levi Bowles recorded three-hit games in Growden’s romp of Westernport in a Senior Division game on Friday.
Bowles doubled, drove in two and scored three times, Hook doubled, Jaxon Lowery was 2 for 4 with a triple and two runs, Hayden Heare singled twice and scored twice, and Issac Growden and Braden Martin doubled.
Hook notched a complete-game win, surrendering three runs on 11 hits in seven innings with 11 strikeouts to one walk.
Ryder Lewis was dealt the loss for Westernport (0-1). Daniel Swindle belted a two-run homer, Johny Hanlin was 3 for 4 with a double, and Swindle, Brody McDougal and Bradley Ziler had multi-hit games.
Westernport battles Lefty’s at Memorial Field on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Growden (1-0) hosts Personal Best at Hamilton Field on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Outdoor Power 8, Cumberland Rotary 2
POTOMAC PARK — Owen Pearce racked up three base knocks and four RBIs to power Outdoor Power to a win over Cumberland Rotary at Hamilton Field on Friday.
Pearce doubled, Cylas Dudiak went 2 for 3 with two ribbies and two runs, and Jace Lancaster singled twice.
Eston Powell was the winning pitcher, allowing two runs on two hits in three innings of middle relief. Pearce and Caden Hall sandwiched Powell’s outing with two shutout innings each.
Blake Davis took the loss for Cumberland Rotary (0-2).
Outdoor Power (1-0) hosts Bedford at Holler Field on Monday at 7 p.m.
Cumberland Rotary heads to Salisbury, Pennsylvania, to face Casselman Valley on Monday at 7 p.m.
