CUMBERLAND — Cumberland Police crash investigators closed a portion of Greene Street Wednesday evening after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, according to an Allegany County Joint Communications Center spokesperson.
The crash was reported just before 6 p.m. at 26 Greene St., between Cherry Place and Bridge Street, according to the spokesperson.
Cumberland Fire Department and ambulance responded.
The Cumberland Police Department Crash Reconstruction Team was requested to the scene after a vehicle reportedly struck a pedestrian, according to Joint Communications Center spokesperson.
Additional details about the crash were not immediately available.
A single victim was transported to UPMC Western Maryland, according to the Joint Communications Center spokesperson.
Their condition is not currently known.
