A day after Paul McCartney’s social media activity hinted that he may be going on tour, the news has been confirmed.
The English musician, 83, announced on Thursday in a Facebook post that his “Got Back” tour, which ran from April 2022 to Dec. 2024, wasn’t over just yet. McCartney has added 19 more shows across North America to his schedule. Of the 16 cities he’ll be stopping in between Sept. 29 to Nov. 25, Buffalo, NY makes the list.
The Beatles’ talent will perform in Buffalo at the Keybank Center on Friday, Nov. 14. Tickets have gone on sale on Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for tickets on StubHub or VividSeats.
During the “Got Back” tour’s initial run, McCartney performed at JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse in June 2022. He performed 36 songs during a nearly three-hour concert, mixing Fab Four classics like “Can’t Buy Me Love” and “Get Back” with his solo and Wings catalogs. It was his first show at the Syracuse University stadium since 2017, and at the time, it was his only Upstate New York stop on his “Got Back” tour.
McCartney, one of the two surviving Beatles members, is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. A two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, McCartney has won 18 Grammys and an Academy Award.
