Oneonta 8, Owego Apalachin 2
Luca Rubin had two goals and three assists as host Oneonta dominated Owego Apalachin in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference non-division match Monday, Sept. 28, at Lloyd F. Baker Field.
The Yellowjackets led at halftime, 4-1.
Niko Iannelli and Hayden Tesiero each scored twice for Oneonta, which also got goals from Brandon Espersen and Miles Gelbsman. P.J. Grace made three assists and Ethan Temming had one assist.
Oneonta outshot Owego, 24-6, and had a 5-2 advantage on corner kicks.
Aiden Wamsley and Jackson Jones each made one save for the Yellowjackets.
Scott Riegel made seven saves for Owego.
Oneonta (6-1, 6-1) will host Chenango Forks for an STAC East Division match Wednesday, Sept. 30. The Blue Devils beat the Yellowjackets, 1-0, in the season opener in Binghamton on Sept. 2.
Cooperstown 7, Town of Webb 0
Shane Bradley and Hayden Spencer each scored twice as the Hawkeyes won a Center State Conference Division II match Monday in Old Forge.
Max Pelcer had a goal and an assist for Cooperstown, which also got a goal from Tomas Volpini-Romero and assists from Spencer, Beckett Grady and Kaiden Carey.
The Hawkeyes led at halftime, 4-0, and outshot Webb, 38-3, with a 9-3 advantage on corner kicks.
Paxton Hazzard made two saves for the Hawkeyes.
Ethan Burns made 20 saves for Webb.
Cooperstown (8-2, 5-1) plays a division match at Mount Markham on Wednesday.

Norwich 210, Oneonta 211
Brevin Bennett won medalist honors as visiting Norwich edged the host Yellowjackets in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference match Monday at the Oneonta Country Club.
Landon Weaver led the Yellowjackets with a plus-5 41 on the front-nine course. Teammates Mason Chard, Kason Miller and Will Daum all shot 42, and Sean Murray shot a 44.
For the Purple Tornado, Matthew Brunick shot a 35, Charlie Smith shot a 41, Kinnon Bennett shot a 49 and Jacob Lobdell shot a 51.
Oneonta will host Susquehanna Valley for an STAC match Thursday, Oct. 1.
