NORTH MANKATO — Drug task force agents reported finding hundreds of grams of methamphetamine at a North Mankato woman’s home Thursday.
Kelsey Jo Chatleain, 36, faces six felonies total related to first-degree drug sales, second-degree drug sales, first-degree drug possession and second-degree drug possession in Nicollet County District Court.
A criminal complaint states the charges were filed after agents with the Brown, Lyon, Renville, Redwood Drug Task Force and officers from other agencies used a search warrant Thursday on Chatleain’s North Mankato home.
After arresting Chatleain, law enforcement officers used a canine partner to conduct a sniff search of the residence. The search turned up 304 grams of meth, with the volume and packaging indicating it was intended for controlled substance trafficking.
Chatleain reportedly told officers where to find most of the meth, according to the complaint. Her first appearance in court is set for Friday.
