NORTH MANKATO — The North Mankato City Council approved a 2025 budget and tax levy at their meeting Monday night.
The total budget levy will be $9.58 million, a 9.5% increase from the current year.
A home valued at about $289,000 will see a tax increase of about $30 for 2025.
The 2025 tax levy will provide about $831,000 in new revenue for the city.
The general fund levy for 2025 would increase by about $160,439. The Port Authority debt service fund and tax abatement levy would stay about the same. The capital levy would increase by about $670,358.
The Port Authority fund will remain at $75,000.
The bonded indebtedness fund will be $1.5 million next year.
