Mineral County duo Avery Noel of Frankfort and Miley Portillo of Keyser shared All-Potomac Valley Conference Division 1 volleyball Player of the Year honors.
Noel, who helped Frankfort to the Class AAA state quarterfinals, is an outside hitter and setter. Also a start shortstop in softball, Noel signed with Liberty University on Wednesday.
Frankfort, which was named the PVC team champion, had one other representative in senior middle hitter Taylor Mandell.
Portillo, also a senior, is a libero and the lone Keyser pick.
Hampshire also had two selections in senior outside hitter Sarah Pownell and senior libero Addy Bril.
Berkeley Springs coach Any O’Dell was named PVC Coach of the Year. Sophomore libero Ryleigh Poist was the Indians’ representative.
