VALDOSTA — No one was injured in a house fire in Valdosta Monday.
Around 1:35 p.m., firefighters were sent to a residential fire at 507 W. Gordon St., a statement from the Valdosta Fire Department said.
Fire crews found a vacant single-family residence fully involved.
The fire was brought under control quickly, the statement said. No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation; the Valdosta Police Department and EMTs from South Georgia Medical Center assisted.
