FRANKLIN, W.Va. — No. 2 East Hardy hit 12 3-pointers, and the Cougars crushed Pendleton County, 65-38, on Thursday night.
East Hardy (13-1) pushed its winning streak to eight games ahead of a road clash with Northern (9-9) on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
The Cougars led 23-8 after the first quarter and 38-22 at the half. Jordan Teets sunk five of his game-high six 3-pointers before halftime and finished with 21 points.
East Hardy took a 56-34 lead into the fourth, ultimately winning by 27.
Four Cougars finished in double figures and four hit at least two 3-pointers. In addition to Jordan Teets, Evan Hamilton added 15 points, JW Teets notched 12 and Nate Smith scored 10. All three made a pair of 3s.
Chase Owens paced Pendleton County with 12 points, followed by Dusty Smith with eight and Josiah Kimble and Cashton Kisamore with seven each.
